Dear Wonderful Riverside Family:
- Much more space inside the clinic
- LOTS of parking
- Expanded hours
As renovations become complete, we are planning:
- In-clinic diagnostic laboratory
- Ultrasound
- Xray and surgical capabilities
Just a little leave of absence
Dr Gifford will be taking a 2 month’s leave of absence starting March 26th to spend some special time with family. Our 3 other fabulous veterinarians; Dr. Emily Sullivan, Crane, and Patterson will still be available to provide care for your pets with the help of our wonderful staff. We will also continue to have our specialists in dermatology, ophthalmology, and ultrasound. Dr. Gifford will still be doing some remote work and have availability for phone consultations when needed. Thank you for your understanding as she takes her first break from practice in 37 years!
Change in After Hours Coverage
From the day Riverside started in June of 1991 our goal has always been to provide the best-personalized care for your pets. This goal has led to numerous changes over the years from ultrasound to dental radiology as well as the addition of paperless records and veterinary specialists. It has also led us to change and discontinue services. Striving to continue to provide the best care for your best friend has brought us to a difficult decision. We will continue to have our triage service, Guardian Vets, available 24/7 for consultation. However, we are referring most after-hours emergencies to one of the 3 emergency clinics in the area. These clinics are fully staffed when we are closed and provide excellent care. This change will allow us to cover our increasingly busy daytime practice and allow our staff a better work/life balance. Most importantly, we strongly believe this change will provide your pets with the best available care. We know that some of you will have some concerns about this decision so please feel free to call or email us with any concerns
Thank you for entrusting us with your beloved pets’ care!
